Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 22, 20261. Orders & Deposits
Wedding cakes: A signed contract and deposit are required to reserve your wedding date. Deposits are refundable if a cancellation is requested at least 30 days prior to the event date. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 30 days of the event date.
Celebration cakes: Orders may be cancelled up to 15 days before the order is due for a full refund. Cancellations made within 15 days of the order date are non-refundable.
2. Cancellations & Changes
Wedding cakes: Cancellations 30+ days before the event: deposit refunded. Within 30 days: deposit is forfeited, as it reserves your date and turns away other inquiries.
Celebration cakes: Cancellations 15+ days before the order is due: refunded. Within 15 days: non-refundable.
All cakes: Design or flavor changes must be requested at least 15 days before the event/order date and are subject to availability.
3. Home Kitchen & Allergen Disclaimer
All Things Cake Co. is a registered Colorado Cottage Food producer operating under the Colorado Cottage Foods Act (C.R.S. § 25-4-1614). This product is produced in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspection.
Our products are prepared in a kitchen that also processes wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, and soy. While we take care with ingredients, we cannot guarantee any product is completely free of allergens due to shared equipment and ingredient handling, and our products are not labeled "allergen-free." Please inform us of any allergies prior to ordering, and note that substitutions may not eliminate all risk.
4. Delivery & Pickup
As a Colorado Cottage Food producer, all orders are fulfilled through local pickup or direct delivery within Colorado; we do not ship products.
Delivery windows and fees, if applicable, will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Once a cake is delivered and/or set up at the event venue, All Things Cake Co. is not responsible for damage caused by handling, environmental conditions (e.g., heat, humidity), or relocation by venue staff or guests.
For pickup orders, the customer assumes full responsibility for the cake's condition once it leaves our care.
5. Design & Photo Representation
Cake designs are custom-created based on the agreed-upon concept, inspiration images, and consultation. Due to the handmade nature of our work, minor variations in color, texture, and detail from inspiration photos should be expected. We do our best to capture and share photos of your order, but cannot guarantee professional photography of every piece.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods and any applicable taxes or fees will be outlined in your invoice (and, for wedding cakes, your signed contract). Pricing is subject to change until a deposit is paid and the order is confirmed.
6a. Wedding Cake Contracts
Wedding cake orders require a separate signed contract in addition to these Terms & Conditions. Where the two documents differ, the terms of your signed wedding contract take precedence for your order.
7. Limitation of Liability
All Things Cake Co.'s liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
